The laboratory is equipped with modern technological equipment that supports molecular pharmacology and modern pharmaceutical research techniques, the determination and processing of gene expression data, as well as advanced imaging and analytical methods. These infrastructures ensure accuracy, reliability and high quality of research results.

The main objective of the Research Laboratory is the development of innovative research applications that meet modern scientific requirements. At the same time, emphasis is placed on the continuous upgrading and strengthening of technological infrastructure, so that the laboratory remains at the forefront of scientific research.
Research with Public Health Impact
The Laboratory’s research activity is essentially interconnected with the real needs of public health. The goal is to produce knowledge with immediate application, social value and measurable benefit for the health system and patients.
The Research Laboratory of IFET S.A. is a fully equipped unit staffed by permanent, highly specialized research personnel, which is specialized in new technologies in Pharmaceutical Research and Development.
The reopening of the Research Laboratory is conducted in accordance with the international standards, with the aim of advancing pharmacological research activities at IFET S.A., while supporting the conduct of preclinical and clinical studies for the development of new medicinal products or the addition of new indications for established medicines.
The establishment of a constant link between Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship and its utilization for the production of innovative products and Services in the Pharmaceutical market, constitutes a challenge of the highest strategic importance for our laboratory.
The Research Laboratory has the necessary infrastructure to resume activities in the field of clinical trials, as provided for in the Institute’s Articles of Association.
At the same time, the Company actively pursues collaborations with established Academic and Research Institutions in the area of emerging technologies, which are expected to provide a competitive advantage and enhance the pace and quality of developments in pharmaceutical research.
The vision of the Research Laboratory is to be established as a national reference point for pharmaceutical research and innovation, contributing substantially to the development of safe, high-quality, and accessible pharmaceutical solutions, in support of Public Health.
